With Balkan, French Pop and Ballad Grooves Amariszi creates an exciting mix of Balkan influenced music, delicately weaved together with ska, reggae and swing. Original compositions arranged especially for the band attract a wide audience: this unique approach to the music has drawn in much attention from the Balkan and pop scene.

Award winning group

In 2011 the group won the ‘Dutch Balkan Blues Contest (International Gipsyfestival Tilburg)’, in 2010 they won the ‘Publieksprijs Zimihc International’. In 2009 they were crowned winner of ‘Next Best Band’.
