Ot Azoj was founded in 1994, The band has developed its own style and sound over the years: the audience often feels overwhelmed by the varied, energetic performance of the band, playing on acoustic instruments only. The six seasoned musicians from the Netherlands, Germany and Poland have their roots in different kinds of music: from Klezmer to Latin and from Turkish to jazz. This results in a lot of fun playing together!

With their new album Dza Dza Dzum Ot Azoj reinvented themselves. After 20 years of Klezmer and Oriental music they felt the need to explore new musical territory. The music on Dza Dza Dzum is typical Molvanian: in a way it sounds familiar, but it is as yet unknown.
